A definition of NLP
Neuro-Linguistic Programming has been called 'the study of the structure of subjective experiences'- that is understanding what happens inside our heads. Each of us has developed a unique set of strategies for dealing with the world as we encounter it from day to day.
NLP is interested in how our thoughts, actions and feelings work together right now to produce our experience.
NLP provides a series of models, or ways of thinking, that allow us to describe and understand these internal strategies. We can also test out different versions so that if we find one that is useful it can be added to our personal repertoire. In general change is effected by increasing choice.
